Paradise Lost

Raqib Shaw (born 1974) is an Indian-born, London-based artist known for his opulent and intricately detailed paintings of imagined paradises, often evoking the work of Old Masters such as Holbein and Bosch. In 2013, the ‘Pace Gallery’ published a catalogue of the artist’s work entitled “Raqib Shaw Paradise Lost”.
