Tom Stogdon Sculptor
Tom Stogdon’s career path took a complete change in 1998. Coming from generations of greengrocers in London, he swapped the fruit trade for the life of an artist creating sculpture from predominantly stone and metal. His work is a combination of found and worked material using what he describes as an ‘abrasive washing machine’ to create different shapes and textures to stone. I joined Tom in his studio in Oxfordshire to document his working process and some of the finished pieces.
